Sam Davs is a multi-talented Canadian songwriter, artist, graphic designer, social media maven and entrepreneur who loves to use her artistry to raise a little hell, conjure up positivity and get a little spooky. Having written over 300 songs, her twelve (12) songwriting cuts have currently hit over ONE AND A HALF MILLION collective streams. A 2025 CMAOntario Nominee for "Industry Person of the Year," Sam has also been awarded 2nd place for “Best Solo Artist” by The Ottawan in 2023.
With an educational background in songwriting, music business, marketing and audio production, she fearlessly paves a new way in the music scene by trying to mesh the essence of whimsy and gothic folklore into everything she creates. This unique spin is quickly putting her at the forefront of the indie scene as the go-to for anyone who wants to tell a story with an eclectic view, darker imagery and a sassy tone.
Sam’s debut single “Wish You Were Hotter” peaked at #44 on the iTunes Country Charts release week, and she has performed at many songwriter showcases across Ontario, including HarmoniaFest as well as during CCMA & CMAOntario weekends.
Davs is the founder and co-host of songwriting round “The Songbird Coven” which is a quarterly songwriter showcase which focuses on featuring independent singer/songwriters from around the Ottawa Valley. Sam also founded and is the creative alchemist behind Cosmic Alchemy Designs, a graphic design and social media marketing hub, where she continues to work with many up and coming Canadian artists: ranging from song creation, production, career coaching, building release plans and graphic design! She also volunteers her time as a social media manager (on the Digital Engagement Team) for the Country Music Association of Ontario.
