Hexing the haters since ‘93: This outspoken feminist witch came flying into the Canadian country music scene 5 years ago and hasn't stopped shaking things up since. Sam Davs is a multi-talented Ontario born songwriter, artist, graphic designer, social media maven and entrepreneur who loves to use her heart and artistry to raise a little hell, conjure up positivity and get a little spooky.
With an educational background in songwriting, music business, marketing and audio production, she fearlessly paves a new way in the music scene by trying to mesh the essence of whimsy and gothic folklore into everything she creates.
Having written over 300 songs, her songwriting cuts have currently hit over one million collective streams. Davs’ most notable songwriting cuts are with award winning country artists Nicole Rayy with viral TikTok song “Graveyard” and Elyse Saunders with Sirus XM Top 6 song “Dirt.”
For the last year, Sam has volunteered her time with the Country Music Association of Ontario as a social media manager; a member of the associations Digital Engagement Team.
As an artist, Sam’s debut single “Wish You Were Hotter” peaked at #44 on the iTunes Country Charts release week and was awarded 2nd place for “Best Solo Artist” of her hometown by The Ottawan (Ottawa, ON.)
Currently, Sam continues to work with many up and coming Canadian artists: ranging from song creation, production, career coaching, building release plans and graphic design!

Sam Davs (Ottawa, ON) is heating things up with the release of her country/rock debut single "Wish You Were Hotter."
This sassy tune comes after being told by a guy that if she was "just a little bit hotter" he would have dated her. What a dick.
Igniting a fire inside, she wanted to take back the word and give it a new meaning. Telling her story about how he would have been hotter if he were a better person on the inside--the song is an empowering-eff- -you-kick-ass girl anthem that you can scream at the top of your lungs or send to your ex that you really don't like.
